Hitchin Gradings

Gradings are held at Hitchin Town Hall gymnasium.  They are open to students from the following clubs subject to them meeting the grading requirements :

Gradings start at 10am for white belts and each grading lasts for approx 30 minutes.  The times for other belts depends on the number of students grading at each belt rank. There is a maximum of 12 students per grading group.

Coloured belt grading are open to any coloured belt except students at brown senior being tested for black belt. Coloured belt gradings are also open to current black belts being tested for a coloured tag.

Black belt gradings are held 3 times a year and are open to brown senior testing for black belt as well as current black belts testing for a tag or dan grade.

Accurate grading times can only be published once all students have put themselves forward for grading and paid, therefore students are advised to do this at the earliest opportunity.  Check noticeboards for up to date grading times.  Alternatively, you can request that up to date grading times are sent to you by e-mail by filling out the form here.
