Grading Requirements.

In order to grade you must have

• Completed at least 12 training sessions since your last grading in a continuous manner. (14 for children's class)
• Had at least a 2 month training period since your last grading (3 for 1st degree black belts & 6 for 2nd degree black belts).
• Attained the minimum standard (as advised by your Chief Instructor).
• Paid the grading fee BEFORE the grading date.

Currently at Hitchin, if you would like to grade, you must enter your name on the grading sheet displayed on the noticeboard.  Your standard and number of lessons will be reviewed and you will then be instructed as to whether you are suitable for examination on this occasion.

Hitchin Juniors will be notified of grading suitability by Mr Renney or Mr Huggins during training approximately 2 weeks before the grading date.

Gradings run to a strict time schedule. Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before your allotted time. We will not be able to fit you into a later slot if you are late.
