Hitchin Junior Choi Kwang Do is a member of the Child-Safe scheme

The child-safe scheme is designed to protect young people in sport and organised groups and is being implemented in Hertfordshire  by a forum made up from members of Hertfordshire Police, Hertfordshire County Social Services and other key agencies.

To be part of this scheme, Hitchin Junior Choi Kwang Do has complied with the child-safe code.

• Adopted a voluntary child-safe policy
• Appointed a child protection officer (Mr Lewis Renney)
• Trained staff and volunteers
• Adopted best practice approaches
• Encouraged parental involvement
